Start your day by making a difference! The Grandview Education Foundation (GEF) invites local businesses, community leaders, and individuals to a Friendraising event on Wednesday, March 4, from 8–9 a.m. at The View Community Center, 13500 Byars Road, Grandview, Missouri.

This casual morning gathering is designed especially for businesses and individuals who have an interest in learning more about GEF and the impact it has on Grandview students and educators. Over coffee and light refreshments, guests will hear how the Foundation supports education through scholarships, classroom grants, and innovative programs that strengthen our schools—and our workforce of tomorrow.

Whether you’re looking for meaningful community partnerships, ways to give back, or simply want to better understand how GEF supports student success, this is an ideal opportunity to connect, ask questions, and build relationships. There is no fundraising ask—just conversation, connections, and a chance to see how your involvement can make a lasting difference.

Distinguished Alumni Nominations NOW OPEN!

Nominations are now being accepted for the Jane Bryan Distinguished Alumni Award. This prestigious award honors Grandview High School graduates whose professional achievements and/or commitment to community service reflect exceptional character and excellence.

Nominees must be alumni of Grandview High School who graduated at least 10 years ago.

The awards will be presented at the Distinguished Alumni Brunch on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., held at the Armacost Car Museum.

Nomination deadline is February 27th.
